Engineers R Us is founded and run by a Chartered Civil Engineer with more than 15 years consultancy experience of designing buildings and bridges across the globe. In my sessions I will share my enthusiasm to bring STEM subjects to life and demonstrate their value in the engineering of the built environment that surrounds us and that we rely on everyday. This club is an excellent opportunity to extend children's thought, understanding and ability to apply knowledge in an investigative and practical way, whilst having fun and being creative too.

How do I support and enrich children's curiosity and excitement of STEM through my club?

As an experienced professional engineer and tutor, I take great pride in creating and developing my sessions around how I can provide an environment to enrich and support children's curiosity, understanding and excitement of STEM subjects and how these contribute to the real world. I do this by:

providing fun, hands on engaging activities that develop transferable skill sets that support classroom learning and beyond.
making children aware of the critical role that STEM subjects play in the real world.
creating an environment where children's confidence and self esteem is boosted by providing a sense of achievement as they work through the activities and get a real sense of the practical application of STEM subjects and how engineers think.
offering a wonderful opportunity for children to build on and further develop knowledge and confidence, exercise their imagination, and stretch their capabilities by a 'can do' approach.
